KV Lifeline Foundation remains committed to enhancing the vital essence of life in all despite these uncertain times due to COVID-19. As such, we have decided to embark upon an abridged version of our Know Your Country Tour, which is a part of the IME Project – Inspire motivate, educate. Due to social gathering and social distancing rules are still in effect and are of paramount importance during this time, we have adapted to this new normal. We decided to keep our target audience “tweens” engaged in a very different way – from the safety, security, and comfort of their homes. To this end, we are aiming to engage children nationwide between the ages of 10-12 years old in a virtual essay writing competition during the August vacation.
We believe that an essay is a fun way to pass time for these children as technology has now become second nature. We are almost sure the topics selected will capture their attention, spark their imagination, and keep them engaged. More than that, it is important to understand the psyche and fascinations of the participants to get them to write to the best of their abilities, which we believe the competition will do.
Having secured support from the business community despite our country’s current economic situation, KV Lifeline Foundation will reward the competition winners with appropriate prizes and recognition. We continue to work tirelessly towards accomplishing our vision which is “fostering sustainability by developing the human capital by utilizing the collective wisdom community by community.”
