Crack Open Creativity: Inspire Camp 2025 — A Summer of Wonder, Learning & Joy Hosted…
KV Lifeline Foundation seeks to pilot a series of workshops that deal with pre- and post-natal health and wellness for mothers and babies. As an extension of the KV Lifeline Foundation “Healthy Lifestyle Health Caravan,” this workshop seeks to create greater awareness of the need for and importance of good health and nutrition during and after pregnancy both for mothers and babies.
Studies have shown that eating and fitness patterns that begin during pregnancy can affect health and well-being across a child’s lifespan. We are in the midst of a childhood obesity epidemic that threatens to leave our children with a shorter life expectancy than their parents. As processed foods become more readily available around the world, developed nations are beginning to follow suit.
The KV Lifeline Foundation believes that it is crucial that we find ways to educate parents on the importance of good nutrition and physical activity for the development of their children.
